Chocolate Brownie Bliss Balls

Updated: Mar 19, 2021

I love knowing that the time I spend cooking and food prepping makes me and my hubby happy ☺️

Today it's been all about using Raw CACAO powder to make my Raw Chocolate Granola and some amazing Chocolate Brownie Bliss Balls💕

Raw Cacao is not the same as Cocoa powder. The cacao beans are dried, fermented and heated at a low temperature to separate out the fatty part leaving the nibs which are less sweet but higher in all the good stuff. This end product is rich in polyphenols, especially flavanols, which are naturally occurring anti-oxidants with numerous health benefits.

May reduce inflammation and Blood Pressure.

Improve blood flow to the brain therefore mood and cognitive function.

💗The flavanols can cross the blood brain barrier and are involved in biochemical pathways which may improve mood and symptoms of depression.

You won't get the same benefits from cheap, mass produced brands, you know the ones 😉 but making your own treats is quick, fun and will make you HAPPY😊😊😊 CHOCOLATE BROWNIE BLISS BALLS ❤️1cup of walnuts ❤️1cup ground almonds ❤️1/4 cup raw cacao powder ❤️12 dates ❤️ 1 tablespoon honey ( or maple syrup) ❤️1teaspoon vanilla essence ❤️pinch of salt

Blend all together at high speed until you have a dough like mix. Pour in about 40g melted cacao butter and blend until combined. Roll into balls, this makes about 16, rolling each one into cacao powder. Chill until firm 💗

If you would like more chocolate inspiration then check out the other recipes on my blog.

Hope what you're eating makes you happy too .

In good health, Trish x
